We works with professional agents to ensure timely shipping service and offers 24/7 support to customers. The company has reliable and experienced drivers to handle even the most complex job. They provide transparent pricing information and have long-lasting relationships with carriers who have 5-star ratings. Auto Outlet Hauling is 100% committed to its customers and partners.
Our rates depend on several factors, including the size of the vehicle, the distance of transport, the working condition of the vehicle, the time of year transport is required, and the general market price for the requested route. By filling out a quote form, customers can obtain an estimate of the exact costs.
It is recommended to schedule the move as soon as possible to ensure that the vehicle is moved within the preferred time frame. We usually assign a truck and have it on its way to pick up the vehicle within 1 to 5 days from the date it is first available for pick-up. Scheduling transportation orders approximately 5 days in advance of the available date is helpful but not always necessary.
To make a reservation, customers need to provide the exact pick-up and delivery addresses, names and phone numbers of the people who will be present at pick-up and delivery, and the first available pick-up date. Reservations are free of charge, and there is no upfront fee. Once the company secures a spot on the trailer, customers will be required to pay a deposit. The balance is due on pick-up or delivery and can be paid in cash, cashier’s check, or money order directly to the driver.
No, the quote provided by Us is all-inclusive. It covers door-to-door service, full bumper-to-bumper insurance, all tax and tolls paid, and personal belongings up to 100 lbs. free of charge.
Several factors affect the auto transport cost, including route distance, vehicle size and condition (running or non-operable), the type of trailer used (open or enclosed), and the season. For example, if a customer wants to ship their vehicle down to Florida in the fall, the cost will be higher due to the tremendous amount of traffic caused by snowbirds moving south to Florida.
We offers various payment methods, including credit or debit card. Once a carrier is found, customers pay a partial fee that varies from 10% to 20% of the whole bill. The remaining balance is paid in full upon delivery. Customers can also pay the remaining balance (carrier pay) once their vehicle has been picked up. We accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Customers can also pay via PayPal.
Drivers are not allowed to accept credit cards or personal checks on delivery. If a customer has an outstanding balance that is due on delivery, they should ensure they have cash, cashier’s check, or money order.
The time it takes to pick up your vehicle largely depends on your location. If your vehicle needs to be picked up from a big city, it will usually be picked up on the date requested. However, unexpected delays can occur due to factors such as weather, traffic, and road conditions. In contrast, if your vehicle needs to be picked up from a rural area, it might take two or more days.
Once your dates are confirmed with the driver, you can expect your vehicle to arrive on time. However, sometimes unexpected delays can occur due to weather conditions, truck breakdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances that the driver may encounter en route. Shipping a vehicle coast-to-coast typically takes between 7 to 10 days, while shipping a vehicle from north to south or vice versa takes around 5 to 7 days. For auto transport distances under 500 miles, the vehicle should be delivered in less than 2 to 3 days after being picked up.
Yes, Auto Outlet Hauling offers both open trailer transport and enclosed transport services.
Door-to-door service means that Auto Outlet Hauling will pick up your vehicle from any address and deliver it to any address, as long as the location is accessible for an 18-wheeler truck (many of which are over 75 ft long). If the location is not accessible, you can arrange to meet the driver at a nearby location with a large parking lot.
No, Auto Outlet Hauling ensures that your vehicle will be delivered on the same truck that it was loaded onto. The only exception would be if the truck that picked up your vehicle broke down en route, and Auto Outlet Hauling had to find a replacement truck to complete the job.
Most drivers will load your vehicle wherever they think it is safe and fits properly. Truckers have to take into account several factors when loading vehicles, such as federal laws and weight restrictions on axles. Therefore, it is unlikely that you can choose a specific spot on the trailer.
Open transport is the most common method of transporting a vehicle, with around 90% of vehicles being transported this way. It is cheaper than enclosed transport and has $250,000 insurance coverage, so there is no need to worry about damage to your vehicle. Enclosed transport is recommended for expensive and exotic cars that require an extra level of protection. Enclosed transport is more expensive than open transport, but it has higher insurance coverage.
Auto Outlet Hauling allows you to ship personal belongings weighing up to 100 lbs free of charge. The items must be placed in the trunk or back compartment of your vehicle. If you want to ship more than 100 lbs, it will be an additional cost, and the items must be placed in the front or back seat of the car below window level. Note that personal belongings inside your vehicle are not insured.
The Department of Transportation does not allow the transportation of household items inside vehicles while in transit. If any personal belongings are left in the vehicle, they will be shipped at the owner’s risk. The driver may ask you to remove your belongings if they are causing the vehicle to be overloaded, or may charge you extra. Auto Outlet Hauling will not be held responsible for any damages caused by household items left inside the vehicle.
Auto Outlet Hauling provides full bumper-to-bumper insurance coverage for vehicles. Open trailers have at least $100,000 of insurance coverage for any damage, while enclosed trailers have coverage of $250,000. This includes damages such as scratches, total damage, theft, and fire. However, personal belongings inside the vehicle are not covered under this insurance policy.
Your vehicle is fully insured during transit with cargo insurance coverage ranging from $250,000 to $1 million. However, damages caused by Acts of God (such as hail, floods, hurricanes, or avalanches) and damages caused by road debris are not covered. If these concerns you, We can arrange for your vehicle to be transported in an enclosed carrier for an additional fee.
If your vehicle arrives at its destination with damage, you must immediately note it on the bill of lading and call Us to report the damage. It’s important to report the damage right away to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Do not let the driver leave until the damage has been noted on the bill of lading and the driver has signed it.
We will ask you to submit the bill of lading and three estimates from an authorized repair shop. They will then facilitate the arbitration with their carrier.
Yes, someone needs to be present during pickup and delivery to sign the bill of lading and observe the driver’s vehicle inspection. It can be either you or someone you authorize.
If you are not available, you can authorize a family member, friend, or co-worker to be present during pickup and delivery. They must be informed about the inspection that is performed during loading and unloading. The person shipping the vehicle must sign the bill of lading, and the person receiving the vehicle must do a thorough inspection upon delivery and note any damages on the same bill of lading.
You only need to provide the keys to the driver. Your title and insurance are not needed. You need to sign off on the bill of lading to confirm that your vehicle has been picked up and is on its way to the drop-off location.
We will require information such as the company name and address, VIN, Lot, and Buyer’s number prior to the pickup date if your car needs to be picked up from an auction.
